Dust2Glory-Thanks! With heat in mind, I did try using a PC, but it just wouldn't cut through the deeper RIDS. Rotary was the only thing getting results. Unlike other Infinit's I've polished, the paint was pretty hard. I'll have to pick up a flex someday...

Beautiful turn around inside and out, dressing application at its BEST. It's nice to see a Scratch Shield detail come out so well, been waiting for one of these. Nice job!



P.S. I'm sure the owner will really appreciate that clear bra, if he even notices it :D
 
Stellar work Rick!!!, the exterior was hammered but the interior of course had the "dealership brylcream" dressing applied, holy high and low spots there.

To answer a few questions: I got the tripod lights from Lowe's and I used 3 different lenses for the pics (18-55mm kit lens, 200mm and 35mm for the close ups).
 
That car turned out very very nice. Great job on transforming that paint and the interior. Customer must have been thrilled. How long did you spend on the car if you don't mind me asking?
 
do u think the next 2.0 or the new turtle wax ice polish would have worked??? and what effect would it have had if u hand polished the paint to prevent the infiti scratch shield paint from activating
 
That G37 looks stunning, I had to work on one same color and paint type to remove some bad sanding scratches and it took me all of 7 hours just to work a few small areas.



I absolutely hate that paint, not too mention it doesn't do anything to remove damage like they claim.

the last one i did got fix with 2 passes 205 on polish pad, was the only thing will correct and not damage more...
 
Just saw this...WOW what a turn around!!! If that was my car and I had scratched it up like that at the car wash, I would have cried (I'm female, I can do that lol!) Great job fixing the paint. Looks like a million bucks!
