Infiniti G37X with Scratch Shield Paint - Complete Detail by Unique Car Care!

tdekany- Thanks Thomas!

Jokeman- Thanks Bryan! I'm just waiting for the clear-bra film to come in that's wide enough to cover the full hood and both fenders. The write-up should be up sometime next week.

vtec92civic- Thanks! It really is amazing that amount of damage can be done in one wash...

As for the camera, it is a Nikon D60 with the 18-55mm lens and a 35mm 1.8 lens.

Yes, I sub-out the clear-bra's. The guy I use has been doing it for nine years now and is one of the best guys around.

Labster- Thank you!!

That is a super nice job Rick and Ryan! You should have made up a new warning label to mention that nothing should touch this car unless that something is named Rick or Ryan! Terrific.

Haha... Thanks David! :)

Another stunning job by Unique car care.

I imagine the client was beyond words when he saw the finished product.

Beautiful work as always guys! I'm just happy for the client that he found somebody of your skill level to see the job through properly.

Those 35 f/1.8 lenses take some sharp pictures, and produce great bokeh too.

Thanks a lot guys!!! Rick and I just love fun jobs like this. You can't have fun without a GREAT challenge. :woot:

Rick, glad to see you have put that 35mm 1.8 lens to great use. Great job on that interior too!:2thumbs:

Rick - that G-car is sick! Wicked -pisha clean! Looks like a typical car wash brush job to be, especially up there (like scrubbing with 105 on a broom):nervous2:

Cannot forget to applaud the other half of the dynamic-duo Ryan!

Seriously awesome transformation guys, wow! Client must have been thrilled with that result, both inside and out. :2thumbs:

what else do you expect from two of the best paint polishers in the world.. Great work guys. I''m not a fan of them wheels. Now that 35mm lens. I need one of them. Outstanding as always. Thanks for the write up!

do you charge extra because of the scratch guard? thats new to me, i didnt know about this elastin resin that they are using on paint now, kinda stupid if you ask me if it still scratches.

Spawne32- I didn't this time, but I sure will on the next one! I agree, it's pretty pontless if it doesn't do what it's supposed to...

DetailnByDustn- Thanks Dustin! I agree, the clear-bra came out great and was barely visible...

That was an awesome job... next time try using a DA instead of a rotary, those scratch resistant coatings as you said use heat to do their "thing", DA especially a flex will make the process a whole lot less painful
