AIO isn't great for swirl marks or paint defects. There was a guy on here (I think it was RedCarGuy) that removed some nasty swirls using AIO, but he used a serious cutting pad.
AIO is more of a cleaner/sealant. There's a dispute currently running on whether it hides or enhances swirls. Me, I don't normally put AIO on my cars until they're swirl free, so I can't put my opinion in there.
I reccomend a polish with moderate abrasives. You might consider Menzerna FP, or Meg's #80 for the new car.
After SG, I think you have to wait 24 hours to put anything on it. I guess that includes carnubas.
And yes, you can put a carnuba right over AIO instead of SG. Just keep in mind, you can't really layer a sealant over a carnuba.
