If you had two choices for wax...

Wanted to get a recent poll of what is your favorite waxes are for lighter and darker color vehicles. I currently use NXT 2.0 for all colors but I've it works pretty good on lighter color but has minimal effect on darker. Please state if it stains trim, ease of removal and amount of depth or gloss.:thanks

Natty's blue for dark, does'nt stain, nice depth, insane gloss

Natty's red for light, does'nt stain, nice depth, insane gloss

NXT 2.0 is not a wax in spite of its name.........Tech Wax. Do you want a TRUE wax or a sealant?

Waxes:

Light - Pinnacle Paste Glaz (discontinued)
Dark - Souveran

Sealants:

Light - Four Star UPP
Dark - Zaino Z5 Pro

If I could only have two LSP's.

I was trying to shoot for a one step wax do not care if its a "sealant" per say... Just shooting for a two product arsenal for detail jobs ranging from light to dark colors. Thanks for all the input so far!

I like Souveran and Natty's. If push comes to shove I guess I would pick Red then Blue from the PB line. I can't guess how many tubs of different waxes I might have in the cupboard but these are really the only pastes I use anymore. Neither of these are a problem with the trim. Since you specifically said wax that's what I commented on.

Interesting question.
I guess I never gave much thought to a wax/color relationship. I use the same products on any color of vehicle.
That has included Black, Red, Dark Blue, Silver, White, and gold that I remember.
The products have varied over the years, but all of the combinations I used seemed to do a good job.

To go back about 15 years. (Farther is certainly possible, but rather boring. This probably will be too.:))

Meguiar's Medallion Paint Cleaner/Meguiar's Medallion Paint Protection. Could leave some white on black textured trim.

Klasse AIO/UPP.
Klasse AIO/S100 Carnauba.
No problem with trim.

Klasse AIO/Collinite #845 Insulator Wax
No problem with trim.

Meguiar's #80/Meguiar's NXT
Not good on trim, but not a big problem if you remove it from the trim immediately.

Klasse AIO/Duragloss 105
Duragloss 501/Duragloss 105
Again, no problem with trim

Optimum Poli-Seal/Optimum Opti-Seal
No problem with trim.

Any of those combinations could work for me. The only reason I got away from some of them was cost and my dislike of the way one of the companies handled their distributors.

I say it so often, but we have so many choices of very good products that is difficult to choose a favorite.

NXT 2.0 is very nice, and you should notice a bit of a difference.

I am currently using.

Sealant- EXP, UPP, IW (no issues with trim)
Wax- S100, M16, Natty's Red, AM Banana Magic (no issues with trim)
