JuneBug said:I bought my Makita through Autogeek, they have a sale going on through today - I don't know if it includes buffers but you could ask. As for the Makita, I like it. Compared to my Porta Cable DA buffer, it's soooo much quieter, smooth and doesn't vibrate your hands off. BUT, it is a powerful tool, it can and will take paint off (been there, done that) so read all you can on rotaries, practice on scrap hoods if you can, or a beater that you don't really care about and good luck. Oh, and Autogeek and other web sites have tons of info on backing plates and pads, personally I'm going to the Edge 2K 8" pads as soon as I can scrape up the cash.
