Stop yelling, we can hear you loud and clear. thank you.

I think you're keyboard is broken or your caps are on because everything you tried to capitalize was lowercase and vice versa. haha :)

But anyways, have you considered a Metabo at all? I know it is a little more $$ but from what I have heard it is worth it. Just something to consider! Good luck with your search!

Try the usual suspects - Autogeek, Top of the Line, Properautocare, etc and you may want to proof read your posts next time.

Oh mang, why you guys busting this guy arse :p

Ebay or Costaltools has them.

YEAH BUYS, LIGHTEN UP. :chuckle:

Of course, I can hardly talk. I write for a living but heaven knows I let my guard down when I'm doing casual stuff online. I've made more than my fair share of typos. I shouldn't be trying to scare someone off on their first post here, even if he did make an easy target for himself. Never know how thin-skinned some folks are.

:aww: :aww: What can I say . I feel like freddy fud pucker. I am a golf professional for a living balls and sticks sometimes they just get mixed up. When I saw the headline this eve I just knew. bendover and kiss my arse good by. Glad to give all a good laugh. Is there a better brand than mikita? what backing pads are best as well as pads.? thanx for your help/ humor. fingers malone:thx

Glad you realized you set yourself up for the hazing. No worries.

No expert here, I just ordered my first rotary and I'm getting a Metabo PE 12-175 from another member here. I'll leave it for others who are more experienced to judge where it falls in the hierachy of rotaries, but I'm confident I'm getting a top-notch one.

How could i not get hazed with a banner like that > i am surprised it wasn't worse. :shocked . does anyone else have a used met abone or is it have a bone . a schit just give everyone a bone . No sence in being picky:grinno: :wall

I like the Makita 9227C, usually I run Lake County's 6.5" pads on it but occasionally I'll use Propel pads.

I bought my 9227 from a local dealer, they'll fix it when it breaks, a website won't.

I bought my Makita through Autogeek, they have a sale going on through today - I don't know if it includes buffers but you could ask. As for the Makita, I like it. Compared to my Porta Cable DA buffer, it's soooo much quieter, smooth and doesn't vibrate your hands off. BUT, it is a powerful tool, it can and will take paint off (been there, done that) so read all you can on rotaries, practice on scrap hoods if you can, or a beater that you don't really care about and good luck. Oh, and Autogeek and other web sites have tons of info on backing plates and pads, personally I'm going to the Edge 2K 8" pads as soon as I can scrape up the cash.
