I want to give away a ton of LC's NEW Cool Wave CCS Pads

maybe one pad that can be used for heavier polishing by increasing downward pressure or fine polishing by lessening the downward pressure on the same pad.(dual layering?)

With all the different pad lines offered by LC and with so many colors in the different lines it has caused a lot of confusion especially for someone new. How about stenciling the intended use on the Velcro backing such as polishing. cutting and so on. It would sure make it easier when you have quite a few pads from the different lines.

I am not sure if this is exactly the same as others have mentioned.
I would like to see a pad with a 22° bevel cut on the outer working edge. The "flat" (bottom) surface would be used normally but slightly rotating the machine would provide a usable beveled surface to cut in to tight areas. This would save switching out machines to spot buff. Possibly incorporate this with with a barrier as others had mentioned. If a barrier was used the pads could be marketed as a cost saving product, and they could save considerable waste of liquid product and time with the dual action bevel.

I have read some pretty impressive comments, and I guess instead of trying to top those off, I would like to make the most simplest suggestions (which could potentially help newbs, weekend warriors, and pro detailers alike)

If I were to think about the most economical but most attractive pad redesign, I would look into:

1) A general labeling of the actual pad, permanently affixed to the pad itself.
Pad name (for future reorder)
Pad aggressiveness
Recommended speeds
Recommended use (light scratches etc..)
Type of products recommended (not brand but something like cut, polish, wax...)

There are too many pads on the market with too many colors and too many ....blah, blah, blah.... to remember. This is a major daunting task for the newb or weekend warrior to remember (without a cheat sheet). Now, most pros can do that eyes closed however that knowledge line gets blurry after 10 hrs of stray work. We all know that packaging goes in the trash, so why not make the "cheat sheet" part of the pad?

By the way, glad to make this my first post! I've lurked on the site many times but being a weekend warrior never had anything valuable to contribute ;)

I would like to see them keep the same color through all their pads, so you didn't have to keep track of what all the different colors do in each different type of pad. I also second the idea of one with a reseviour for your compound/polish or wax...that would be cool...fill er up and go till your done.

Welcome to AutopiaForums!

Well now that there are no more edge pads I need to start looking at other pads and switch from my backing plateless system. SO I would love the chance to put these to a test against the old edge pads...

the things i would like to see..

Smaller spot buffing pads and backing plates.

Exact fit backing plates for pads

Denser closed celled pads that don’t soak up product for polishing, finishing, LSP application.

Here to hoping i have to by some new backing plates if i win this....

I'd like to see LC incorporate some sort of ventilation system into their pad lineup to improve airflow and even coverage throughout the pad entirely. Also, a more durable adhesive could be beneficial as I have had several pads delaminate relatively early in their polishing life cycle.

New pads look cool!

Pads made for hand application with a better design that allows you to hold them better than the pill shaped ones and smaller sizes. also would be cool to have them do something like the nanoskin pads do. Lake Country pads are amazing.

I as well like the ideas that everybody has wrote. Here is my 2 cents.
As silly as it sounds, a self cleaning pad. A foam pad for shampooing carpets. Good luck to all that entered.

It would be awesome if someone would come with with an extension adapter that can get in really tight spaces. Im talking about and adapter that they have for tools like a dremel, that can be bent and get in just about any angle. Not sure how it would work on a D.A. but it sure would be useful!

Just curious, how do you guys pick the winners of these things? Is it best post? Do you use eeny, meeny, miny, moe?

Not saying one way is better than an other.
