I just ordered Vintage

Sheesh all these people buying vintage, having used it myself I can say that it is indeed good, but not better looking on properly prepped paint than any high quality carnauba.

If I were ever to invest in a $2000 wax, it would be mainly so I could show the fancy container to my customers and say now see you can get THIS wax on your car for an extra fee.

Grats, Mr. Houdini! I sincerely hope you enjoy your Vintage as much as I have (and do). Are you going to order it straight from Zymol?

Thanks Mr. Superbee! :D

I will sure buy straight from them! hence this thread here :idea

Haha, we're lucky guys to be in that club. It means we have good lives... As for customs, I am sure it'll be a couple hundred bucks and a long delay. What can you do, the joys of living in Canuckistan. I lived my whole live without Vintage, I can go a few more weeks.

How did I miss this? Congrats, Picus! :bigups

They're dropping like flies around here... makes me wonder how long Accumulator can hold out...

You guys think Calgary has his, and just hasn't posted, cause he's Vintage-ing everything in the house? Word of advice: don't use it on the kitchen floor unless you want to take a couple hour nap on it.

Another person I know just bought it too; actually his experience with it combined with some of the experiences on here are what convinced me to go for it. I actually told me wife and amazingly she was ok with it.

As for Calgary; he's probably having some for lunch right now. :D

got my good laugh for the day! LMAO:funnypost

this one is for superbee

quick update, no vintage :(

But i did get one of the 4 orders I was waiting on, which is a plus.. I now have menzerna to polsih ouy my car for the vintage.

I also found out the guy who ordered it a week before he got hs letter saying he owed a ton of money lol. mine should be here this week. ifnot then im going to go on a rampage, ok maybe not but still

Im still waiting on an order of odds and ends, swissvax, and vintage... it will all come soon i am sure

And picus, it took about a month for my friend to get his and it looks like mine will take just as long, it has to go through a seprate customs system because its valued over 1600CDN so be preapred to wait

Yarn.....is it next week yet??

I see we're starting to get more *sour grapes* sentiments in. Now really......give some of the guys credit. Do you really think anyone would spend that much on a zymol product if they *didn't* think that their core products could outperform their competitors?? Never mind the price (although it can be a sticking point)!!! Let's be serious now. And I just get a kick out of the comments about P21s being better than some of the zymols, as some of those posters were unaware that I use both waxes.....its really tickles sometimes holding my thoughts in!!!!!!:waxing:

Let me know when its next week Mike!!!??!!??!!

Accumulator!!!! Don't listen to some of those comments. Try out a zymol............if you dare to compare....................bhhaahahahaha!!!!

Congrats Picus!

I will be forcing my way in this club very soon! :woot2:

ok so quick update, I have called Zymol and asked them to look into it. diane said she would do what she could, very helpfull.

It has no come as im sure you assumed, it might come today but im out of town for the night, need to look at a new place. so i wont know untill i get back saturday night :think2

I have only been barely following this thread, but 42 pages later you still don't have your wax? Sheesh, sounds like Excel, Danase, or ACC should be carrying this wax so you can get some service...actually it sounds more like my occasional AG experience...

I'm keepin' up the faith for you Mike. This is scandalous though....a whole month (yes one month exactly from your first post on 9/12)!!! You will have to stage your refills if this is the speed that you can expect. You will need to send the container back when you get to the half mark (by scooping out the leftover wax and sending the clean and empty container), or else you may be looking at two months waiting time when you go for the refills.

Let's hope for tomorrow!

Oh man, I don't want to even think about the refills :aww:

lbls1 & SuperBee364- Heh heh, my delaying the (seemingly inevitable :o ) Zymol leap just got easier- the guy working on the Jag ran into something problematic and now it'll almost certainly be spring until I get it back since we don't want to move it around during an Ohio winter (OK by me as I really don't have room for it at present). Heh heh, calgarydetail isn't the only person who's waiting and waiting and waiting ;)

I believe he meant how well the finish reacts to a wash. SuperBee did a good review of how his Vintage finish maintained its luster after a wash.

And yes, a pure wax by its definition will have no cleaning agents and no stripping power, despite popular belief of a few. That is why a pure wax will layer almost perfectly.
