As I sit on my couch, motivated to get some work done, and look outside its pouring down rain. It does this every stinkin day here in Tampa this time of year!



It was just a rant, but this rainy season really kills the pocket book, lol.

Yep, everyday and I'm also tired of summer. I'm ready for some cooler, drier weather. :woot2:

How 'bout if you know it's gonna pour go outside and soap up your car and let the rain rinse off all the crap. When it's done raining then spray wax it down. I used to do this in south carolina. My car then never developed bad spotting and always looked good.

I don't ever wash my car any time I have a detail scheduled for the next day. It never fails...it's going to rain. Last time I washed my car 5 minutes after I got done it rained for 5 minutes but since I was drinving the car got extremely dirty AGAIN. Got home, rewashed and it rained all the next day. I should have taken that 10% chance of rain seriously. That covers the 2 days it has rained in Austin this summer. Last time I did a full detail on it it didn't stop raining for 3 days.

Killed me last summer. We got 29" of rain between May 1st and July 31st. May and June were less than half of what they were the previous year. Believe me, I feel your pain.

Up here, we set records for July rainfall. Here's hoping August is dry, and warm, and sunny.

Yep it is, it use to be like clock work : For a few weeks in would rain from 6-9 am, then moved on to around noon, then finally it would rain around 5-8 pm. Now it rains 3-4 times everyday in my area. I can't complain because it our drinking water and helps the grass , trees and farmers too. Also it get's my customers vehicles dirty!
