I HATE rain!!!

It was nice here in Buffalo most of Thursday, I finish up a nice Jag XJS and it is sunny with a few puffy clouds. Within half an hour, it starts pissing rain with lightning, the customer had to drive the car home in the rain.

I can't complain today, our crappy forecasters called for rain in the afternoon and evening, and the car I have to detail didn't fit in the garage (55' Caddy, what a boat), so I worked my a$$ off racing the weather. Now it's 5:40, no rain in sight, albeit cloudy.

need some cool weather for LSU games comin up!!! :hifive:

Yeah you're right :bigups

Eventhough I'll be watching from home it just doesn't feel like football season until it's cooler. ;)

Did nearly a complete reconditioning on a 2004 Accord (no pics :() yesterday. It was pouring rain when I arrived, pouring rain for 80% of the work. Pulled outside to polish. Began waxing the car and it started to rain again. Pulled right back inside.

I think the news said we've had 12" more rain than our monthly average. So instead of 8", we were at 20" in July. I check weather.com 10Day whenever someone sets up an appt.- but I think even the threat of rain deters some customers.

Rainy day = One or No calls, maybe an Email

Sunny Day = Send them to voicemail I'm so busy

I wish we had rain.. We've had a 15 minute sprinkle in literally the past 2 months. And now it's hot here. Hate to rub it in everyone.. but it's gorgeous here in the Bay Area! :D

Don't get me wrong, I love rain. But no rain IS good for business.. Already one county above me has to ration water because of our droughts. Meaning if the police catch you watering plants, WASHING CARS, etc during the really hot days, they ticket you. Good thing my county hasn't taken this up yet. Crossing my fingers!
