Look guys, if you continuously had to answer the same questions that you have meticulously provided on a website, and it's say 100+ degree temp in the shop, it just gets on some peoples nerve. Nothing personal, just frustrating that people do not do their due diligence prior to purchasing a product that may cost more than others. Look through the posts, check mfg websites, read through all the info, then procure the products. Further info can be had via the mfg as well.
As for Sal, I've spoken to him in great length on all subjects, and we both understand we are trying to obtain the best shine and respect each views. Sure, he shoots from the hip on occasion, but that's fine by me. He has tested many products over the years and has a vast database to draw from. It may be subjective, it may also be professionally delt with as well and not well received by enthusiasts who are quite loyal or drawn into another product and mfg. claims. But that's what makes all of us unique! We all see thing different. Some are more on the enthusiats way of thinking and some are more on the professional way of thinking.
Again, don't take it personal if Sal may be short, just try to read and make sure you go through what a mfg will instruct if it's on a bottle or a website.
Sal can be a weath of knowledge, so draw from the well if you can make your own educated opinion without being offended, or put-off by the opinion of someone else.
back to the real topic: Sure, you can top it. So many people do with good results. It's all trial and error sometime on our behalf, so why not? OK, so maybe it can (wax) try to migrate to the finish. You can also get cancer from out in the sun... maybe..
Also remember, Zaino started as a show car polish, which was then a closely guaded secret amongst all other show people. It started slow, word-of-mouth, then proceeded to a mail order business, which now is fully on the web. He spends more time developing the product than how to deliver it.
So now, enjoy the Zaino website, you can order directly from it and it has all the tips/tricks known by Sal. All other tips/tricks you can read in all the posts from all of us "playing" with it.
Sal does not post on this forum, but he did keep en eye out once and awhile.
For those that enjoy Zaino.. great, those that don't, that's OK too. You never know what's new until one of us tries it, reports on it and then we decide.
Now, let's find something better to post about!
Regards,
Deanski
