I am just concerned about the protection......

It still beaded way more than when I first purchased the car 8 months ago. It was still smooth after the Dawn wash, although not as smooth as a fresh application of Klasse obviously. I can not see how Dawn could remove a polymer(acrylic) that easy without scrubbing. If it does remove it that easy, Dawn can not possibly be good for your clear coat then. Also then, what good is Klasse against winter road salt, calcium chloride, and road oil? If the Dawn wash can remove it, then it sounds like Klasse is not the great winter protectant people claim it is.

Since so many people have so many different experiences with this Klasse, I am beginning to think Klasse is mixed and packaged by hand, and all of us have different mixes.

Maybe it is time to try something new since there are so many discrepancies with Klasse. Wheres the Zaino ZFX???

yeah I think I will try Zaino next spring....especially the ZFX :)

however, how to remove Klasse AIO and several layers of KSG build up?

can I use one or two application of PPCL to remove it?

*no I don't have SMR or Iso.. Alcohol*

any help would be appreciated :)

Isopropyl alcohol for about a buck at almost any store. I bought 4 12 oz bottles for .60 each the other day on sale. Wash the car with shampoo. Thin one or two bottles of the iso down 50/50 with water, and simply wipe it on with a wash mit. Rinse well and dry. Your car will be stripped. You can tell if it is stripped by rubbing your finger on a wet spot of paint and if it squeaks loudly, it's stripped to the clear.

You can use vinegar on Zaino, I've heard.

You could try using a steel wool pad with muratic acid. That should help strip your car of Klasse. :)

The person that did the Dawn wash to strip off his Klasse (AIO 2x, SG 2x, 3M show car wax 2x) informed me that he did the Dawn wash while putting approximately 5 capfuls into his 5 gallon bucket and also squirted some Dawn on his wash mitt for each new panel that he washed (that's a lot of Dawn!). After thoroughly rinsing, he felt that the Dawn was gone not only because of the way the water sheeted (as described above by DK), but also because the paint squeaked when he rubbed his fingers on it. Rinsing was thorough, since a high pressure water spray (like the ones found at coin-ops) was used for a full five minutes. There was no discernible film on the car afterwards and the car looked clean.
