if we were to ever try to pass something off like that where i work (chevy dealer) we would be canned instantly. i have seen some stuff come in on dealer trade that was much worse than that beleive it or not, that was detailed and ready to go supposedly. but you were right about the salespeople being a new cars worst enemy. i know of instances when we were all gone and they delivered a car, they would just hose it down and dry it. no soap no nothing, quick rinse and dryt. unreal.

its there. you can see it in the last pic. just no premium sound. a lot of them that we have sold have been just like this rs, equipment wise. they sure didnt look that bad.

Good work!!! As a former car salesman, I truly cringed whenever I sold brand new vehicles (Volkswagen's) that are 100 times more swirled than my black daily driver. Time is money in dealers, which doesn't let the detailers give good work. A lot of the detailers I have worked with in dealerships actually are pretty decent, but management forces them to be hacks to save time.

Nope camaro's have pretty hard paint - close to a vette.

It's amazing the damage that dealers do to new (and used) car paint. Hard to believe that they could do that amount of damage in that short period of time, but seeing is believing. Nice work on a really sharp car!

I laughed at the "Test Me" on the windshield -- I guess dealerships never change!

Haha! No doubt and it is pretty sickening to see. Luckily nothing a little hard work can't change

That is some of the worst DISO (dealer installed swirl option) that I've seen. Nice work.



(The worst I've seen was regrettably a 100K BMW alpina coupe in black with swirls you could see from 10 feet away). Still waiting for a weekend to take the DISO out of my car

For a new car there was alot of etching (lack of care), and I'll bet that they wanted top dollar for the camaro with all the special features that you found.

Very true. Time is money. Many people ask how they can have such messed up cars for sale, and the truth is that everyone has messed up cars for sale so none look too poor in comparison to anyone else's.

The worst part was the owner had the dealer remove the racing stripes from the car. So the dealer took off the stripes, then proceeded to add a sticker? Unreal. To say the least this place would never get my business.

BTW, this is going to sound kind of odd but what kind of power washer are you using and what kind of soap dispensing attachment are you using to get it to foam up like that. Most of the power washers I see only have the feed lines and the soap does get pushed out at a high pressure.
