DaGonz said:It totally blow my mind ( or what is left of it) how a dealership can deliver a car in that shape and consider it to be "clean".... :grrr:think::nervous2:
You guys are a "dynamic duo of detailing!"
Barry Theal said:Great work gentleman. Nice looking car. What does one have to do for a nice AutoLavish T-shirt? I loved them. Way to come yet again!
ntwrkguy1 said:It's amazing the damage that dealers do to new (and used) car paint. Hard to believe that they could do that amount of damage in that short period of time, but seeing is believing. Nice work on a really sharp car!
I laughed at the "Test Me" on the windshield -- I guess dealerships never change!
d00t said:Outstanding work, guys! Another tick on the board for "perfect from AutoLAVISH" :2thumbs:
cptzippy said:That is some of the worst DISO (dealer installed swirl option) that I've seen. Nice work.
(The worst I've seen was regrettably a 100K BMW alpina coupe in black with swirls you could see from 10 feet away). Still waiting for a weekend to take the DISO out of my car![]()

Did you guys leave mints?
PWORLDSTANG said:Nice work. That car was beat for a "New" car. I bet the owner was really happy with the end result.
MI Mike said:I have to agree you did a great job !!
You did not happen to send Gordon Chev. a notice of what a vehicle should like when sold.
For a new car there was alot of etching (lack of care), and I'll bet that they wanted top dollar for the camaro with all the special features that you found.
:hifive:

swirlnuts said:if we were to ever try to pass something off like that where i work (chevy dealer) we would be canned instantly. i have seen some stuff come in on dealer trade that was much worse than that beleive it or not, that was detailed and ready to go supposedly. but you were right about the salespeople being a new cars worst enemy. i know of instances when we were all gone and they delivered a car, they would just hose it down and dry it. no soap no nothing, quick rinse and dryt. unreal.

blkwagon04 said:Good work!!! As a former car salesman, I truly cringed whenever I sold brand new vehicles (Volkswagen's) that are 100 times more swirled than my black daily driver. Time is money in dealers, which doesn't let the detailers give good work. A lot of the detailers I have worked with in dealerships actually are pretty decent, but management forces them to be hacks to save time.
VanityDetailing said:It baffles me how dealers treat their new cars... especially the ones that are $40K+. If I'm dropping 40, 50, 60K+ on a car, it better be f'ing PERFECT.
Hemin8r said:Outstanding job fellas. I can't believe dealerships want to advertise their business by adding stickers to the paint. They should discount the price of the car for advertising.
Labster said:Amazing turn around guys! I'll be up near Toledo in August, I might have to stop by and see you guys in action.
