When I use to detail I never paid close attention to tracking supplies and washing towels and stuff. I do remember I didn`t have enough towels (waterless wash) so I`d end up having to wash them every few days. My towels were all stolen and I`m pondering how many I`d need to order so I`m not doing laundry every day or 2. Well I know at least 50, probably 100. But it me thinking how many towels I could actually fit in a load. I have a 4.9 or 5.0 cubic foot top load machine with no agitator. I know towel size and GSM`s will make a difference. I`m looking at some 16x24 370 GSM towels. An article on AGO says 12 average size MF`s make for a good small load. I`m assuming average = 16x16. Looking at my washers drum it seems to me I could get a lot more than 24. Anyone here who washes a ton of towels ever count out how many they could fit in a single load?
