How do you clean behind side mirrors?

What is the best method for cleaning behind the side mirrors on a car?

I use a boar's hair brush and regular carwash to get around the mirror. It cleans up whatever is visiable.

On my side mirror there's an access hole to the assembly screw in the bottom of the mirror housing.

I loosen the screw to the mirror assembly and GENTLY pull the mirror assembly out. Yours should be similar.



Clean, polish, wax.



I wouldn' go to that extreme on a customers car unless they specifically asked me to.

My wash mitt fits behind most side mirrors quite well

Another vote for BHBs. I'll also use swabs for really tight spots.
