I appoligize for ruining one thread, I was wrong with some of the things I said, I was frustrated when I first joined because I though Autopia was like another site I had problems with getting booted for having a different opinion than what their vendors carried.
Actually, it's been more than one thread. We've deleted at least one thread, another had to be heavily edited and was returned to the forum, and several other threads have been watched closely due to your involvement.
I was wrong, this is a special place. I was also misinformed with PD's in klasse, but my other points where valid. But, there is a problem with vendors being deceptive here in my opinion. That post above is a sales pitch common man.
That's the second time I've seen you call someone "common man". Do it again, and you're gone; personal attacks, even this kind of petty name calling, will NOT be tolerated.
If a moderator tells me I'm wrong on this I'll never bring it up again I give my word, but I think who is and who is not vendors are relevant.
You're wrong. If you believe someone is acting as a shill, contact a member of the moderating staff, and we'll look into it. DO NOT, I repeat,
DO NOT raise the issue in the forums. All it does is hijack whatever thread you've posted to, and it's rather annoying to other forum members.
That said, if you're a vendor, please take a moment now to edit your signature and identify yourself. This is a recent rule that was implemented a couple of months ago, and I notice a lot of our older members that are vendors haven't changed their signature. Remember, you can identify your company, and your affiliation with that company (owner, salesman, tech rep, whatever), but URLs linking to your business are NOT allowed. No pictures, and less than three lines of text, please.
Secondly, we have people saying these products are something the clearly are not, safe for the environment. So with this info, who ruined this post? Me for pointing out these things or the people who where being deceptive?
Products that are poisonous if ingested may also be safe for the environment when signifcantly diluted: "The dose makes the poison." Unless you plan on catching wildlife and force feeding the cleaner to them, they're probably safe. Here's another example of something that's poisonous in high concentrations, but innocuous when diluted: chlorine. Pure chlorine is dangerous enough to use as a chemical weapon (and has been), but we use it to sanitize our water supply.
I don't believe anyone is trying to be deceptive here, just a poorly handled misunderstanding. Let it go.
Thanks,
Tort
