There is no difference. As long as it's not related to lack of maintenance, blatant/intensional destruction or normal wear & tear; it's covered. i.e. by ACCIDENT. Let me know what your Agent says.
If your paint is dead and you key it on purpose.........Not Covered
If your car gets keyed by someone............Covered
If you spray paint your fence and your car's paint gets destroyed.......Covered
If you accidentally drive your car into a lake..........Covered
If you run you accidentally run your dirtbike into your car.....Covered
If you & your friends make a ramp to land you dirtbikes on your car...Not Covered
