Has anyone tried the DuraGloss products..

they do make an abrasive polish for marring..oxidation..sratches...just I have not used it...it is #652...buffing and polisher cleaner...Pre-Cleaner #2...it may work..but I have no experience using it....

My Bad, yes I meant AquaWax. S&W worked great in removing the smearing but for some reason the S&G just didn't want to cooperate.
 
I think you are defeating the purpose by using S&G over the AquaWax...the AW has a better gloss or shine to it...plus the AW is more of a sealant and may need time to cure before applying anything on top...this may be reason for smears...AW is not a QD...S&G is more of a QD...

I did a wash ( DG Wash ) the other night on my car that had #80/#16/AW and did not see any problems after drying the car with a MF and a quick hit of SG to remove any spots.
( The AW was applied a week ago.)

I will monitor this the next time and pay closer attention and see if I can reproduce your issue.


I picked up some #601/#111/ another 22 oz of AW today at lunch.
Geez, I gotta stop buying product !!!

Maybe after I get some FC detailer.....

Well, I had the car overnight and just before he picked it up I gave it a quick shot of S & G, so the Aquawax was able to sit for 24 hours. In the garage I couldn't see anything, it looked great, but as soon as I got it in the sun I noticed the smearing.
 
I tried a few QD's on my truck to see if they would streak..425..Kwik shine..4*UGE..PB's S&W..Meg's..Adam's..Long Haul..and could not get them to streak..I have no PB's S&G to try...maybe it is something with PB's and AW that are not compatable...

try the S&G on a car without AW and see if it still streaks...wish I could help you on this...but Aquawax alone gives a outstanding shine and needs no booster...

Ive used Eagle One WnS, Turtle Platinum spray, Eagle One Nano spray,Perfect Detail spray, and Poorboys S&W. Ive use Aquawax above them and below them , and no streakes. Ive put Aquawax over S100 and still no streakes.
