Has anyone tried the DuraGloss products..

I won a auction last year with almost the full line of DuraGloss products..I am wondering if any one else has tried them and what results you have had..

My results.

1 The Clearcaot polish #111 with the bonding agent gave a nice deep wet look and very durable and slick..lasted all winter on my GF's Honda...I would put it with Klasse in durability...my opinion

2 The Shampoo is great...cleans very good...will not clean off LSP and leaves a nice glossy and slick finish..

3 The leather shampoo and conditioner are great also...really cleans the leather and leaves a nice finish on leather and softens it..not greasy..I was told they make it for the King Ranch leather products...

3 The Aquawax is a great product...it is a spray on LSP and not a QD..leaves a very wet and slick surface and beads like mad weeks later...very durable..better than OCW to me

4 their QD..Fast Clean and Shine is a top notch QD ..it will clean light dirt and dust and leave a great shine and not strip LSP...quote from thier site..

"Is formulated to remove dust and light soil from painted surfaces without scratching or removing durable polishes. Actually bonds with the polish for added gloss and durability."

4 The glass polish is nice also..a little strong ..but will remove water spots and leave glass crystal clear...

5 the Tire and Mat dressing is best tire dressing I have used...it lasts through rain.. it leaves a nice semi gloss or matte finish and no sling..very durable..

I could go on but this gives you an idea of the products and results...

I have a vast collection of the high price Boutique products..as I was chasing the perfect shine ..I am not saying this is the perfect shine..but very close...and cost is less than the Boutique stuff and more durable than most and a shine and look that rivals them..

This again is just my opinion..but the must try products are the shampoo and the Aquawax and QD..then decide for your self

Yes, I have recently tried the AquaWax and really like it. A lot. I am planning on trying as much of their line as I can. I have heard very good things. :)

Jared ...you will not be dissapointed at all....The durability is what got me...I had Klasse and collinite on my truck for the winter...did great ....My Girlfriends car had the Duragloss on it...did great..was still beading and glossy in late april..done in November..

They have a complete line of products, it's available right down the road both from where I work and where I live, and it's very affordable. I have been blown away by the AquaWax, and from what I have heard, the results from all their other stuff is top notch as well.

The shampoo/wash is probably my most favorite OTC product. I always will have a gallon on hand. In a pinch, it mixes to make a pretty good clay lube as well.

I'm assuming you use the soap in the foam gun Mr. D?

I've tried the fast clean and shine, and it is one of the only qd's that I've used that fills in swirls, doesn't streak and is easy to use.

The Fast Clean and Shine is a very nice QD..it is loaded with some type of polymers...does HIDE swirls SOME What...here is a description of the product

Is formulated to remove dust and light soil from painted surfaces without scratching or removing durable polishes. Actually bonds with the polish for added gloss and durability.

so it may hide some swirls ..but it is just a temp thing ..

All in all a great QD for the price...as i said before ..thier products do what they claim...and more...

id like to order the aquawax to give it a try, but their shopping cart on the website prompts me to enter a ship to zip code, even though I already have.

I've tried to e-mail them a few times, but they refuse to reply

I had the same problem with the zip code thing...you need to call and order....they will take your order over the phone no problem...tell them about the zip code problem also..I did ..not that they fixed it..lol...

they are very friendly and ordering is a pleasure...

Same experience....for some reason you can only use a 5 digit zipcode.

Try a carquest store..I live not far from you...and had to go to carquest to get what I did not have...they can order it if they do not have in stock..takes a day...

I found this while snooping around online. I don't know how great a deal it is or anything, but for someone wanting to test a few of the Duragloss products, it seems like a nice little compilation. Shipping to my zip was around $5.

Edit: I don't know what's up with the link, but if you search for Duragloss it comes up with lots of different products. the starter bucket is on there.

Here's their picture...

EDIT x 2: Found a better link. And it seems there's two different bucket sets.

I tried the Aquawax and its a outstanding spray wax. It left my car like a mirror. In the near future you may not need regular waxes anymore, just use a spray wax, and a cleaner wax twice a year to get the dirt out of the paint.

For any one interested in trying the Duragloss line..the products I would suggest to start with with little expense..but you will have a car care system

1. Duragloss PC #101 Polish and Cleaner..8oz's sorta like AIO .. a cleaner and a sealant combined..I have it but not tried it as I have paint cleaners I use now.

2. If you use your own paint cleaner like Menzerna...Meg's..PB's.or what ever..then I suggest the DuraGloss #111 8oz's Clear coat polish..I have used it and it is very nice stuff..and as durable as it gets..leaves a nice wet deep look and slick as heck....

3. Aquawax #951 22oz's a spray on sealant...or booster...This stuff is amazing..has no cleaners so make sure your paint is clean..can be used over a sealant or wax..not a QD type product...Slick..Deep..glossy..just read posts on it and see results..

4..shampoo #901 this is the 16oz bottle...this shampoo will clean very good...suds are great for those who like suds..great lube..rinses off clean and leaves paint slick..

5. the Qiuck Detail called Fast Clean and Shine... 22oz's Quoted from thier site......
Is formulated to remove dust and light soil from painted surfaces without scratching or removing durable polishes. Actually bonds with the polish for added gloss and durability..
I have used this and others..this is my go to now..it is a QD on steriods...I used it to clean pollen ..dust..bird sh&t..bugs and it does a great job. and leaves a nice finish...and I see no marring from the using of it...just a nice shine and slick feel on the paint

that is a good beginers kit...Total cost around 28.00...

after you try these out and see results..you may want to try other products...I have almost the whole line I won on a auction so if you want to know about other products ask ...
