Has anyone here tried Wolf's Hardbody?

I have been using Hard Body for 2 months now. I have used it on at least 12 vehicles. We applied it 50/50 vs opti-coat to Joey's Mazda 5 3 weeks ago. Its too early to tell with these long term sealants/coatings.

With Hard Body you are going to get 25-30 applications out of a $60 bottle. So an easy under $2.50/application.

Hard Body is also going to be the easiest (by far) to apply. Here is a video of how I apply HB using a r/o and black pad:

Bryan--thanks for doing the video -- seems easy with a DA--couple of questions--

After polishing do you do an IPA wipedown?

Do you prime the pad at all before using the one spritz per panel?

Does HB seem to live up to it's scratch resistence claims?

Yes IPA wipedown always prior to HB.

I spray 2x to start and then 1x after.

I have no personal experience yet with the scratch resistance.

Maybe we can try it on Joey's car. :)

I will say that I would and probably will try the HB, but I will give OC it's due... it's a very durable and quite scratch resistant. My friend has a doberman that loves to go for rides and I had previously detailed and OC'd his car, the dog decided to jump up on the side of the car... all the nail marks wiped off with pretty much no effort at all.

I applied Hard Body to a McLaren MP4 12C about 5 hous ago (tired) and it seemed to go on/off fairly nice. I prepped with Shine 'n Seal. I'll be applying a 2nd coat later tonight to ensure I achieved 100% coverage.

But what you don't hear about as much is how darn slick that stuff is. Every time I leave my microfiber towel within arms reach when applying HB, they have a tendency to fall right off the car.

The question I have is does it stay slick like that?

Time will tell. Very confident in the wolfs product line though,

so I don't have much reason to doubt. So far everything I've

used from them has worked the way Jesse advertised it would.

I honestly have not used any Wolf's products, but their name has obviously grown quite a bit and it all seems to be pretty good stuff.

Like I said, try it once and I have no doubt you'll like it.

Haven't gotten to play around with the compounds and

polishes too much; but the decon gel, glass guard, trim-

coat, body wrap, hard body, quick detailer, mask,

leather sealant, and textile sealant are all worth having

around, IMO. Especially the first 5 I listed.

Do you buff with a MF after applying with a DA?

As long as you're not trying to apply too much product, it should just flash off. But I'd keep a MF of hand just in case you need to knock down any high spots.

How does it look??? I am all about looks. Vintage and POXY are my looks products.

While I don't have super extensive experience with those two products, I can tell you it looks phenomenal. I don't have a good camera, so I don't have really good pics to do it justice, but Bryan posted this thread a while back that, I think, captures the look of it really well.
