I was wondering if it was safe to use the same applicator pad when applying the Z2,Z5 and so on. I ask because I only have one applicator pad from Zaino (I lost the other one). If anyone else knows where I can get a good applicator pad (that doesn't scratch) in the SF\Bay Area..please share the info...:)



Not really related but I need some advice on it....I also have polished wheels...How should I go about maintaining the shine and cleaning? Soap and Water?....

I realize Sal insists that the terry cotton applicator is the only way to go but you could have some trouble finding one that (like Zaino's) is 100% cotton. During the last sale at CMA, I purchased a bunch of their MF-over-foam applicators and my theory is that applicators don't get much better.



I realize that this doesn't solve your immediate problem but no serious detailer is going to have only one or two applicators on hand - hey! these things are dropped on the ground or clip a filthy area and become instantly useless until rewashed
