Cicada remains on a car

A friend of mine has cicada parts on his front grill. He says he can't get them off. Anyone have any ideas on what to use to rid him of this problem? It's been on his car since June. I told him to try Poorboy's ProPolish.

He should have asked you in JUNE!

Anyhow, tell him to take some car wash soap concentrate, and apply it full strength directly to the "splat", and let it soak for a few minutes, and then wash the vehicle off with some suds.

If that doesn't work, go right to a paint cleaner, or polish.
