Gotta love PA

Up to 12"-20" oh boy. Boss has us working kinda local and told us to keep an eye on the roads Tuesday morning. Far as I`m concerned I`m not coming off that mountain 4:30am Tuesday in a snowstorm.

Spoke with state store and a supermarket manager (that sells beer). Sales are huge. Hopefully that means people are realizing how dangerous/bad this could be. Stay home and make my job easier...

People`s #1 priority when preparing for a major storm and potentially losing utilities and being cut off for a day or two is to stock up on booze?

Just about to start here, meanwhile in PA its been snowing all night. Luckily I think where I live will be 8-10 inches as we are going to change over to rain for while near coast, inland though is going to get 12-24 inches (ouch).

Woke up at 4 this morning just as the 1/2 ton truck with a plow on it came by (yea... small town, lol) and in 15 minutes it was covered again. About 5"-6" out there now and it`s coming down fast. Boss let it up to me and my coworker what we were doing today; we`re not going anywhere...

WOW what an amazing storm. I was just looking at the live radar and it is just snowing now in Maine and the last bits of rain from it are pulling out of Florida and the its just stoped snowing and its pulling out of Detroit. What a Massive storm.

Forecast totals here in SE PA has jumped all over the place - 3"-11"-15"-6"-8" and now back down to 3". Has been sleet/freezing rain all night and windy. I`ll plow at day break and snap a picture or two.

As of right now 6:32 am), we have ~2" on the ground with more slowly coming in NE Ohio, our warning is active until tomorrow (Wednesday).

I have to go out in it in a few hours to get a rust-proofing inspection done on the Camaro, appointment`s at 8:00. If I see anything good, I`ll take pics and post them.

First round of snow-blowing done. About 8" so far, I`ll finish the rest of the blowing and salt the driveways later on.

Quick picture of where the S10 and Expedition sit (grandmothers house) It`s the only place I could put it and it being out of the way. Going to be a while before I can get the truck out, it`s dead right now anyways. Camry and GTI are tucked in the garage.

Lake County/Mentor area was kinda messy at 5:30am; freeway covered in snow, no distinct lanes but really only 1-2" on ground then. Hit I-480 and was clear enough that I was doing 75mph with people passing me like I was standing still. Brecksville now snowing consistent but not heavy accumulations.

Funniest forecast I saw was a Weather Channel guy calling for "...between 1 and 11 inches in the Cleveland area."

I shoulda been a weatherman...apparently flipping a coin is the primary skill-set when all is said and done.

As of 1045 am
No snow here..........

(but we did have 2.5 inches of rain last night and heavy heavy winds....

18" here, give or take in the "Lower Susquehanna Valley" - outside Harrisburg towards Lancaster. Heavy, wet, nasty snow. Now I`m working in the remains. Please let people stay home...
