Glass Cleaner?

That’s interesting, I’m looking to replace mine. That’s how difficult this haze I’m dealing with is.
I take it its on the inside. If so, are your windows tinted? If they are tinted, I don`t have an answer for you. If they are not tinted, try using an ammonia based glass cleaner such as Zep.

Out of curiosity, what do people recommend for tinted windows? I know Ammonia based will strip the tint off (my dad had to do that on his old Chevy truck when he moved to California from Michigan 20+ years ago and got a fix it ticket for tint that was too dark), but what is recommended for tint nowadays? Meg`s glass concentrate?

(My Crown Vic has getting-compromised aftermarket tint that I have to be careful with.) Having run out of my Sonus stuff (forget the name of it) which worked fine, I`m currently using Griot`s. The 3D 50:1 seems OK on it too but the way it doesn`t die off cleanly usually has me reaching for something else.

AFAIK, a *lot* of glass cleaners from Detailing Product companies are aftermarket tint-safe these days.

Carpro Clarify+Car Pro glass towel here, both are pricey but I hate doing windows, and I suck at it. So anything that makes the process work better for me I`m all for. Prior to this I liked Gtechniq`s glass cleaner, and am still a fan of Adam`s and their double sided green glass towels. Clarify costs too much imho but you use so little a bottle lasts a long time.
