The best thing that could happen for all of us would to be able to team-up with someone who likes to do this too, and split the workload..
Perhaps it can happen for someone out there - I hope so...
I just found out my website domain name got sent to ERP or whatever that is, because a payment went by only a few days delinquent, and the idiots (webs.com) are holding it for ransom, and even if I pay the ransom, there is no guarantee I can get it back..
I am mad at them because they sent notices to the old internet address I had (that the Ex disconnected), and didnt even try to call or text me..
I have had that domain name for almost 10 years... I am starting to dislike the geeks that run this stuff more and more...
All those great pics are gone, but I have them luckily in my laptop H/D...

So... speaking of geeks...
If you missed your renewal date your domain normally goes into a holding period. In other words, it's still owned by the registrar (in your case, enom.com) and they're holding it for you to renew. Check your whois info at the link below and you can see that they're holding it. (Not going to post a direct link even though anyone can type it in and see the info.)

Sadly, the best way to resolve this issue isn't exactly something that you will like. The easiest path is to pay what they ask (you can try to negotiate but, like everything, it may or may not work.) Your second option is to sit it out and hope they release it in 30-60 days and you can re-register the domain with (preferably) a different registrar. If you do choose to sit it out, you may want to look into another domain from a different registrar and, once you have the .com back you can simply redirect the .org/.net/.xyz/.whatever to the .com. The way it looks (I had a peak at webs.com) and sounds to me is that you got the whole package deal from them and you may be stuck with footing the bill. I won't get into all the technicalities of that but that's my two cents.
I'm not trying to sound rude or like I'm attacking you but, this is why you need to make sure your information is kept up to date. You should also
always keep at least one up-to-date backup of the entirety of your site. Hosts aren't always perfect and they sometimes crash/get hacked/etc. and lose data. Not a big deal if you've got a backup or two. (Same goes for those pictures on your laptop, IMO, one backup on the laptop is not enough.) A good, rugged (whether store bought or homemade) flash drive is a great option for most people seeing as they can be pretty waterproof. Since they're solid state drives you also have less to worry about if it gets banged around a little in storage. If a flash drive (AKA: thumb drive, pen drive, USB drive, USB stick, and so on) is not for you, at least pick up a good external hard drive (could also choose a SSD external). As a side note, if you are mobile and have no store front, I would strongly recommend purchasing WhoisGuard with whatever domain you register. You'll understand once you run your domain.
I have never used an all-in-one package for hosting/registrar services and never will. That way if I am unhappy with the host I can transfer hosts, if I'm unhappy with the registrar I can transfer registrars. I will say that I have used namecheap for almost every domain I have ever registered and have never had an issue (though I have not used them since their update and am unsure if it's still under the same ownership. It's been a few years since I seriously ran a site.) If you do choose to transfer domain/s and/or hosting services, a lot of sites offer it free of charge (especially domain transfers).
Anyway, since this entire topic is off-topic you can PM me if you need any other help. I'm not a professional and haven't seriously ran a website in 5+ years but I'll try to help you with what I can and/or redirect you to somewhere you can find the help you need.
