As my Autopia name says, I drive a top of the line quality made Ford that could put japanese and german cars to shame (LOL). And I've read some articles of this car having some brake issues. I'm hoping I'm not one of those poor souls who had landed on a Focus with brake issues.
Well, here's the thing. I've noticed recently that my rear brakes (drum brakes) have been giving me this noise in the morning (aside from the brake dust squeal). It sounds like if you have a cardboard box and push it across the floor sound. This happens especially on monday mornings since during the weekend, Mr. Lemon is not being used. The noise goes away after a few miles of driving. Any idea what it is? Is it just dirt from the road? or just a case of brakes not being used?
Welp, thanks guys. My 35000 mile oil change is near that's why I'm trying to collect as much info as possible. Next time I get a car, it's going to be a Hyundai Tiburon.. If it starts screwing up, at least I like the looks of it.
