Everything I use seems to give my tires a nuclear glow, (and yes, I've use 303 and Endurance.) Since I have a black car, I would like the look of dark, maybe jet black tires. Any suggestions?

Show a picture please as I do not understand...mine with 303 or zaino are extremely black.

And floni that was fun ny!!!

Yeah, deep, dark black tires with no sheen at all looks great on black cars. It doesn't take attention away from the paint as much IMHO.

I would try using a good tire or all-purpose cleaner to give 'em a "like-new" look and finish with a dye like Forever Black.

I haven't tried the Forever Black tire dye yet... so u can be the ginny-pig! ;) :D

it says that it lasts for 50 washes and...for"months"......so why the heck aint that many people said screw all the other stuff and bought it...didnt i read Ron or somevody saying it wasnt "recomended "for tires for some reason...i gotta search on it...but the pic in the add looks great....but its...an ad...so:confused:

I don't have a digital camera, so pictures would be a problem. However, I have tried degreasers and cleaners, and after I dry the tires, they are faded and look bad. I've been applying 303 everyday for 4 days trying to make it look good, but it looks fake, like plastic, and has a weird "nuclear glow." (That's the only term I can think of.)

I like the deep black with no gloss as well. I've had very good sucess using the Endurance (NOT the High Gloss). I put it on, let it sit about 20-30 minutes, and then buff with a terry towel.

No runs, no drips, no errors, and most importantly, no gloss.:)

I have forever black and Endurance...I will put them each on one tire and take a picture. I won;t be able to post it till this week end. Wife has the car....

chuck do you buff the the tire after it dwells for a while? this gets rid of some of the shine and makes it satinny if that is a word.

if you want it less satinny try wiping with a slightly damp rag...

Here is how I apply 303 to tries, and they are a satin finish not glossy at all.

1. Clean Tire (I use EFHI)

2. Dry the tire.

3. Apply 303 using Eagle One Tire Swipe

4. Let 303 sit on tire for about 1 hour

5. Come back buff off remaining 303 on surface.

I do this quite often, and the tires are not one bit glossy. Just a nice satin black finish. :up

I 100% agree with Ryan. They make my black mercedes look awesome! I dunno if it is bad for the tires, but it makes them black :up

I just washed my tires...then

I used Meguiar Enduranse on one

I used Foreever Tire Gel on another

I Used Black Foreever permenant black paint on another

Will post pictures if anyone interested
