Just an old dog tryin to learn some new things. Great forum... best I've seen, so I thought I'd become a member. Check this.... Moved to Alaska from sunny California about 5 years ago. The winters are way harsh for vehicles here. I've got a 04 Silver Metallic Chevy Truck. I have religiously kept it clean (drive through car wash in winter because of sub zero temps) every week and hand washed in the summer.
I have not yet clayed, polished, or waxed the truck yet. Please don't crucify me for not paying better attention to the truck's finish. There is a great deal of tar, road grime, and general "sandpaper like feel" to the trucks paint. The truck has always been garaged in the winter but I still have these issues that I need to address now. The truck looks "nice from far," but is "far from nice." All opinions and advise are welcome and greatly appreciated. :help:
