Well I got my Makita from kleraudio(jim) who is an amazing person! I finally got to try it out today. All I have to say is that this machine is no joke. It is the perfect rotary. I am currently doing my uncles car that sits in the driveway all day/night. He don't care for it and just wants it sold. He said "go at it" when I left. I don't know what year, but its an older, and smaller size Toyota corrola.
I figured since I am in the middle of polishing it; I would post some 50/50's and post final results later. I am not going for perfection on this car. I did SIP on orange and finished up with XMT 360 to remove any holograms left.
Sorry for the crappy pics. It was at night and no garage lighting and I was using a some poopy Kodak Easy Share camera.
Driver Side Fender Before:
Driver Side Fender After:
Driver Side A-Pillar 50/50:
Left bottom = Polished
Right top = Untouched
SIP on LC Orange Pad @ ~1800rpms
XMT360 on LC White Pad @ 1300-1500rpms
Tires got Meguiars Tire Gel
Right before I took this pic, the sun went behind that big cloud.
Any tips on how to use the rotary, throw it my way! :thx
