Thanks to all for commenting! Sean is the man with the rotary and the camera.

The F40 resin is tough to measure with any device. Its all hand-laid, so there are high a low spots everywhere. Common sense and an experienced eye had to take front seat.

Todd- the patina was lost back in 1991!!!

Did you see how that post finished out? We are going for drive in his P4/5, Rickys F40, my pending GT3, and a few other random F40 / F50's in a few weeks. It was a happy ending. Was that JS's 288 GTO you did?

Justin...I dropped off of that thread a few days ago, so glad to hear it turned out well. Be sure to get photos.

No, the 288 GTO I worked on belonged to somebody else.

Good luck on the P4/5 - When I saw it @ the Palm Beach Super Car show it looked pretty rough. Definately way more incompetent neglect then Patina. Is the owner conceeding and letting you apply wax to it?

The F40 looks like you guys did a nice job. Way to go!

Thanks for the comments, guys! Nice to be posting again.

Glad to hear from you again!:wavey

One of these days we've got to meet.

The work on the F40 was done with perfection in mind and you guys accomplished this. Getting a car ready for a concours event can be a real struggle as the deadline draws closer and there are so many things to do and go over.

Having a winning car afterwards is a true statement of the work performed. That shows the true metal of a detailer.

Great work guys and glad to see Sean is back!

Regards,

Deanski

Thanks Daivd.

No wax, I dont think he is into altering the look on that one or the Pininfarina museum car. We are going to take a blast up Bear Mountain with some Ferrari and maybe a few Porsche guys before the snow starts. Looking forward to that one.

We have a few more Ferrari's going into the Festa Di Ferrari and the Scarsdale Concourse in October, more pics to come.
