Hello all

What is everyones favorite Carnauba?

What would you rate these Carnaubas?

P21S
S100
Souvervan
PB nattys

I cant rate these myslef because i havent tried all of them.. i just need an opinion for what im going to buy for spring. Remember to rate on Ease of use and application. Smells , colors, cost, instructions, and packaging.

thanks everyone

Greg

Natty's - Seen the comparison between Souveran vs. Natty's, I will take Natty's since its cheaper and can most likely work better for the sealant beneath
Souveran - Expensive! For paste that is. Easy on/off. Amazing reactions on red / black. etc.
S100/P21S - Same thing. But most overall good for any color. Very easy to use.

Of those you have listed, S100 is the only one I have used. Over the years I have used lots of others, but S100 is by far my favorite of any I have used.
Easy on
Easy off
Looks great
Good durability for a Carnauba
Priced right
It doesn't leave white residue on black trim!!!!

You didnt mention the color of the car you are talking about but if its a dark colored car
SOUVERN
TRADE SECRET
ADAMS BUTTER WAX
VICTORIA WAX
FINISH KARE
STUFF
LIQUID SOUVERN
ARMINO-UV
#16 MEGS
COLLINITE
the list goes on and on

I use Collinite fleet wax myself, even under the New England conditions it lasts for over 3 months, I have yet to use anything under $20 a tin that even comes close, most wash off within 2 weeks. I also use Einszett Glanz as the base coat, best stuff ever for the price. I have been wanting to try other product as well, just now it is too late to be trying to wax a car, average temp now is 40 degrees, damn winter!!

Of those you listed I've only used P21S. I don't pay much attention to the smell. Cost is the highest I would pay for a wax. That lets Souveran out. Instructions are adequate. Packaging is first rate. It couldn't be easier to use. It is a fine wax IMO.
I probably will try Nattys since it is so highly rated here.

I have Trade Secret and Souveran Liquid and Souveran Paste. My wife's car is a very dark navy blue metallic and my truck is red.

I tried the Trade Secret on the wife's car and didn't care for the effect. I like the Trade Secret on my truck when going for a very reflective look, though not warm.

But my favorite is the Souveran paste, though I very much like the Souveran Liquid as well.

It is just the look I want on the wife's car and on my truck, I love it. It offers the reflectiveness and a really warm and soft look that I like. It's reflective qualities are not quite up to the Trade Secret's though, but close enough for my tastes.

Hope this helps some.

P21S - Very good all around carnuba looks good on most colors

S100 - Same as P21S

Souvervan - A bit pricey but looks awesome on dark colors
.
PB Nattys - My favorite carnuba. Looks good on everything I have put it on and is priced to buy and has good durability for a carnuba.

P21S and S100 best all around product,
except for Souveran on dark colors (red, black, green, blue)

I find both to be more durable than their web reputation suggests.

I agree with silverLexus. I find that souveran is pretty durable even in hot climate. I live in Vegas which is really hot during summer and souveran held up pretty well. I use crystal mist after every wash and that could've helped a bit too.

I just tried Adams butter wax over the weekend on a silver car and it looked great almost a mirror like finish. I also have some Piazza paste wax that I like allot. Next time that I need some its going to be nattys I have read a lot of great things here about it.

for appearance - s100 (plan on trying Natty's when s100 is gone)

for durability - Collinite #476s paste (same as #845 liquid)

SOUVERN..............#1 (something in that product)
Im not a big fan of P21S or S100 but that is just me
Natties is excellent
I think TS is real close to SOUVERN very hard to tell diffference
just my opinion

I have a silver car and my favorite Carnauba is Pinnacle Signature...if you have metallic paint it is awesome. It goes on like butter on a warm roll...and buffs off just as easily. My hands get so slick when I apply it.

P21S is a very good wax that looks great on every car I've ever seen it on.
