exhaust tips--inside.?

Open the picture in Microsoft Paint or whatever you have and Save As . . . a .JPG file so that it will be compressed. .GIF files work as well but are often lower quality.

I've seen inaugural GP in '00 and Shumi winning, missed last year, but will be there this one.
 
I dont think Schumacher uses this stuff, all that added weight would just slow the car down. But the sound of a V10 at 18000 rpm is amazing.

Wow man, I have never seen anything even close to that, between the flat 12, the vavles and the working pedals and shifter, jeepers... I don't know. 12 years of hard work.....

Read the best way to clean exhaust tips article here,--& today I did it,haven't done it before. I'm not a prof. detailer---but question is---the inside of those mufflers or exhaust----had black stuff, is this the carbon spoken of---I only got a little of it off-- that black color stuff-----did not have 0000 steel wool, just cleaned and used a metal polish.. Should I use the steel wool first, then clean them, then end up with the metal polish and do the inside also not just the exterior of those chrome looking tips? Do I need to wet the steel wool to use it too?-- thanks, softoa..

I will usually dip the steel wool into metal polish (just enough to provide some lubrication).

On chrome you can use an ammonia based window cleaner as a lubricant, such as Windex. (Don't use Windex on automotive glass however, particularly if it is tinted).
 
Hold on a minute - some tips have chrome outside but black painted inside. Don't start with steel wool on the inside until you know if it is supposed to be black!
