Ever Had One You Wish You Had Back?

Acadia looks great to me too! I will say I've had those jobs as well if it's any consolation. You mention that it's a repeat customer so don't worry, you'll see it again.

Rest assured the customer was extremely happy.

I know exactly how you feel. Sometimes you want to conquer the world with a polisher in your hand, other times you dont even know where to begin.

Today I had a similar case which started awful and ended up good.

Began a black Lexus LS, heavily swirled. Could not get a combo to work, spent maybe 2hrs. on the hood trying to get this thing 100% without micro marring. I just wasnt into it.

I took a break, got some iced coffee, cleared my head. Came back and found a combo that worked beautifully and just got into a grove.

Hopefully tomorrow will be the same way as I am only 50% done polishing.

Dont sweat it and if it really bothers you, bottle it up and attack the next one with vengeance.

FWIW I think the Acadia came out mint!

Well, the owners were ecstatic and gave me a very generous tip and even texted later in the evening to say how pleased they were. And, I'm doing the guy's pickup next weekend, so I guess I should feel good about that!

Happy 4th everyone, stay safe!:hurray:

When someone goes out of their way to send a follow up email or text... well thats how you know you did an excellent job.

Are your worries gone now?

Yeah, I thought the same thing, I do feel quite a bit better now! Plus, I get another shot at their other vehicle next weekend!
