Ever Had One You Wish You Had Back?

I had a similar problem with my Bro's 330ci interior (tan). I used Griots interior cleaner (good stuff) with a stiff chine bristle brush and they came off nicely. This was from the smooth plastic piece thats in the front corner of the door.
 
I love that 303 Protectant inside the Porsche's black interior. It's not really shiny and it doesn't appear to attract dust. :up I'm going to try it on my tires next.

303 does have a funny smell to me but I love everything else about it and use it often.



I am thinking of trying the Vinylex diaper wipes for the interior.

I kinda like Pinnacle Vinyl and Rubber Protectant. It very similar to 303 but maybe even more of a matte finish which reduces the reflection in the windshield. Its a few bucks more than 303 but this is a bimmer you're talkin about!!!



I agree about Vinylex having the perfect tire shine! And I like Z16 on black trim and rubber....

...but not if it doesnt last long. But that's just my opinion.
 
Sory i thought it was 40 bucks, but id rather get 32oz of 303 for $34 or something. Price aside, i prefer 303, griots isnt bad but it doesnt last loing for me and i like 303s look, and from what i hear, 303 offers some of the best UV protection out there though i cant imidiatelly measure this.

The letters MSRP become a bit meaningless for some of these damn cars!

Maybe I got ripped off, but I had to pay above MSRP for my MB. The dealer wouldn't go down no matter how hard I tried. I also had to wait 4 months to get my car.

I like Lexol produts. I have had many compliments from my clients and it is the product I use on my personal cars. I use LEXOL-NF which is a NON-darkening leather dressing. You can get this from some Lexol distributers but I get mine from a saddle shop.

I am doing this guy's wife's Acadia, he's a return customer and great people. Well, for some reason I just couldn't get in the groove on this one, if you know what I mean. I have my normal routine, but for some reason I felt like I was jumping around and nothing went smooth. I was on a short time frame, so I didn't have time to do a full 105/205 polish topped with BFWD and they were fine with that. Everything came out great, I think, but you ever finish one up where you just know you either missed something or you don't feel like you gave it your best effort? Well, that's how I feel returning this. I know they'll love it and it really does look good, but I'm just not 100% satisfied with myself!

Anyway, here are some pics.

I started by foaming with Meguiars Gold Class soap, clayed with my moldy BFWD Clay, went with Zaino AIO and topped with BFWD Sealant, then finished with Z8. Tires got purple powered and dressed with Z16, wheels were cleaned with P21S and sealed with Zaino AIO, all trim treated with 303, exhaust was polished with Mothers Metal Polish and the Power Ball. Interior got Griots Interior cleaner everywhere and followed with Zaino Leather in a Bottle. Carpets were foamed with Resolve Heavy Traffic and all rubber seals were treated with Armour All Tire Gel, very lightly.

Here you go, sorry for the crappy EVO pics, my wife took off with our camera bag and all I had was a zoom lens and I didn't want to take pics of it from the neighbors yard!

Looks great Husker Z! I came understand sometimes when ones rush one starts to think it you missed something. Always good to go over the vehicle before you turn it over to the owner. Looks like a change of shirt is in order:thumbup:
 
Happens to me all the time. Seems I am always second guessing myself as to if I gave it all I had. Even when the client is drooling on the fenders. I still ask myself, self could you have done a better job :sarge

I wouldn't worry to much about this if I were you. I am sure this is a very common symptom of our disease Boo Hoo

The Acadia looks great. Beautiful colour :drool5:
 
Yeah, I've gone over it a few times, just to make sure, just one of those where I was never comfortable.

Does PAC sell shirts? I'm a tshirt junky,i have an entire closet devoted to only tshirts. I'd gladly sport a pac shirt.
