In this comparison, I have put the Griots Garage Micro Fiber Drying Towel up against CMA's Big Blue .
Let me start out by saying both towels turned out to be excellent. The Griots was slightly larger and had these hand pockets sewn into each end. I did not find the pockets useful for holding, but liked the extra absorbancy they add by making it two layers thick.
For the test vehicle, I used a 2000 Mercedes ML430 which had absolutely no wax or protection on the paint. The water after the wash just puddled on the hood in one large sheet.
I placed both towels side by side and patted them to see how much water they would absorb. (you can see the Griots Towel's hand pockets)
