Does anyone else not like the new layout?

Hi Autopians

Stay tuned. We listened and our developers are working as we speak. Server will be even more upgraded Monday night to the fastest awailable.

Also lots of new demands are being corrected.

Yeah, I really appreciate all the work that went into this, and the features of the new site, but I find myself not logging in because its pretty difficult to read. Hard to explain, but it hurts my eyes to look at it long.
 
I'm having a hard time adjusting to the new layout. I don't like the fact that there is not an option to see all of Today's Posts. I also don't like the classifieds section very much.
 
The classifieds section for this forum has sucked for a looonng time. Its much easier to have a dedicated classifieds sub-forum that is part of the menu of main forums. Not some other specialized feature that gets no traffic because its hard to read. I think allot more people would buy/sell stuff. You could have 2 classifieds, one for detailing stuff only, one for general crap and stuff.
 
Not only am I now a fan of the new site I thnik it is user unfriendly. I cannot get the screens to populate properly and I have tired on 3 different computers 2 PC's and a MAC. I am begging the ADMIN's to press the back button an restore the old forum. I miss being able to see the posts of the before and Afters. All I can acess is the today's post section.



I love the community here but this site is horrible. I hate the message you have to wait X seconds and try again.

I have given this a few days to shake out but just a minute improvement. I find myself spending more time on other sites becasue this forum layout is HORRIBLE!



PLEASE REVERT BACK TO THE OLD SITE.



Any Admins who want to PM me can and I will share my issues.
 
Also not a fan. I'm getting accustomed to it, but that by no way means that I like it. It seemed like it was easier for me to tell which posts were new, and which posts I had already read on the original version. Now everything just looks almost cartoony.
 
Not a fan of the new site at all. The home page looks like the home page of a newspaper, everything kind of melds into one. I would call it new but not improved.
 
I've been staying out of these discussions, figuring that I'll just adapt and that the changes aren't all that big a deal to me.



But today the PM section is quite different, and not, IMO, in a good way. I do a fair bit of PMing, and this isn't good news for me :(

Agreed, I find myself spending much less time here. It looks pretty but its hard to read, I think too much of the stuff takes your attention away from the text.

This and some of my PM's are missing.
 
I understand that I need to adjust to new things. But I think this site looks like a basic template I can find on Go Daddy. It does move along faster but the old site just seemed so much more professional. Real pictures instead of fake computer generated crap. I hate to say negative things about something I'm sure that somebody put a lot of hard work into. But this is just not the same old Autopia that I was perfectly happy with.

still dont understand why the new features couldnt have been incorporated into the old layout...

i think that would have been much more effective.



not completely sure about this, but it seems like theres been activity on here since the switch
 
I have been here for many years, and everything was fine. Mainly the classifieds sucked, and the site was slow. Everything else was fine. "If it aint broke, dont fix it"...

There's a classifieds section? Is there a minimum post count to see the section or something? I only see a good deals section.

I would go right past dont like to HATE the LAYOUT. Love the community. Cannot figure out why they changed a good thing. This does not even work right our I'd shut up and use it.
