Detailer needed in Roswell, GA (Atlanta)

I'm buying a black 08' GMC Denali from a dealer in Roswell, GA and am looking for someone to give it a full treatment before I pick it up on Monday the 22nd.

It has a few baked on bug remains on the front bumper, and a small rock chip to fill in. The rest looks good, but I want it to look its best.

Any pros interested?? I can post pics if needed.

This is also a good opportunity to show up this particular's detail service, and maybe pick up a new account because they already had it "detailed", but I think it can be better.

It's a Dodge dealer that specializes in exotics on their used car lot, so the work could be endless.

I will be paying you directly, and the detail will be done at the dealership.

Here's pictures to see that we are working with a good base already. I'm only looking to improve on what has already been done. Since I haven't seen this vehicle in person yet, I am only going off the same pictures, but we all know how misleading pictures can be sometimes, so I'd feel much better if someone that I trust details it and reports back with any uncorrectable defects.

These pictures were taken a week ago, maybe two....supposedly.

We can't post pictures in this forum, so here are the links.

Yeah...Bryan does really good work. Was just chiming in that in the event he was booked, I could handle it.

Can't wait to see the write up!

OK...I don't mean to sound disrespectful, but you, as the moderator of a detailing website cannot be serious about a respectable autopia level pro "picking up an account" at a dealership. Dealerships only care about the bottom line. They are not going to cough up what an autopia level detailer would charge. They will pay bargain prices for a "glaze and go" from a assembly line style detailer. And remember...90% of the public thinks this style of "detailing" is fine.

My vote would be for gmblack3a. And remember...think about how you want the vehicle to look a month from now. I can guarantee you it will still look just as stunning then as it will right after he finishes (assuming you take care of it). I have worked on cars months behind him, and they still looked great. You could tell he didn't use fillers...he corrected it. Additionally, be careful of anyone that quotes you under $500 for that beast.

Yeah, your point was brought to my attention by a couple other people via pm, and I can certainly see where you guys are coming from with dealerships only worrying about their bottom line, BUT sometimes when business is slow, it's good to have options.

Nobody said that if someone only wants to pay $10 an hour that they still get "Autopia" quality. A true pro would be able to adapt to each situation, and be able to do whatever it takes to make money and make the customer happy. If the dealer just wants a quick wash and application of something to fill all the defects, then just give him what he wants, take the check, and move on.

This is exactly what's going on right now. I am buying a vehicle that was just "detailed" a week ago, but I don't even have to see it in person to know that after a good wash, all those defects are going to start coming back out, which is why I'm looking for someone to give it a "real" detail and report back to me with any possible non-correctable defects that I'm not being told about.

On a good note, Bryan got the job and he's going to do it on Thursday. :cooleek:

No, Bryan, thank YOU for everything. It ended being WAY more involved than I thought it was going to be, and you definitely stepped up to the plate by going over and beyond any agreement we made, and I appreciate it.

I can't wait to see it in person!!

PS, Let me know if you get extra time to go back and do that front bumper. and possibly *de-grease* the interior. I'll certainly pay you separately for that if you go back.
