Nattys or 845?

Hey all I currently use 845 IW due to its great durability however the FL summer is almost over so no more 90+ days with rain! Im thinking about trying some nattys blue but was wondering it anyne has any experience with both of these products to give me some advise. Basically what Im wondering is are the looks that much better. I dont mind having to apply more often and having less protection but only if there is actually a visual improvement. Also the car is a darker blue color and the LSP would be a topper over DG 101 or Klasse AIO...Thanks for any advise all!

I find Natty's Blue to be deeper and wetter looking on dark colors and IW845 to be more reflective. Like most of these LSPs, looks can be subjective. Both are quality products, IW will be much more durable IMO. Natty's does SMELL much better though.

I would wait till Oct. because it's still 96 with the heat factor of 105-110 here in west central florida, DG and KAIO is the only products you got? Natty's is a very good wax but the 845 will give you the protection from this heat. It's up to you.

i apologize this is off topic but:

Zoom:

I hope i don't expose my ignorance too much, but i've been wondering:

"JFK Tower to Delta 1857 , wind 180 at 10 , runway 22r, fly runway heading, maintain 3000 , clear for takeoff , traffic at 4 mile final "

What does that mean?

Thanks,

Steve

I do plan on waiting for the cooler months just shopping ahead because Im impatient like that:heelclick as far as 101 and AIO what would you recomend using as a base besides either of these?

I use to be a Air force Air traffic Controller and work at Kennedy Airport in NYC when all of the controllers were fired by the President Reagan in 81. Then from there i was a combat controller and did alot of crazy thing's (like jumping out of a perfectly good airplane) I'm been waiting for someone to ask about this. Thanks for asking.......also i just clear a airplane for takeoff on the runway and telling him to get moving fast.

It means the pilot better listen to his message or it might be bad news.

On my mazda i use the twins then use opti-seal (7 coats) and it still shines great and provides me with protection from this weather too. In the fall or winter i'm going to try something else. But for you i had a question... do you have a PC or your doing it by hand? also there are so many products out there that if it was me i would do some more reading up on what folks are using and like the most. I wax my wifes car every 2 or 3 weeks because i like to do that for her and also i could keep a eye on it. I use natty's (all color's), CG XXX, and Meg's gold too and so far all have been good for me.

can you top Natty's with 845 so it will last longer? if you did ,would you get deep wet look of natty's with 845 protection, or does the 845 just over take the natty's?

I unfortunatly live on the second floor of an apartment so I have no way to power a PC so it will all be done by hand. I have done tons of reading on here and over at the autogeek forums as well which is how I ended up with 101 and AIO. M car is new so there is very little if any paint damage and both of these products seemed to be a very good one step clean and seal. If there is some other product that I might have missed Id be more tha happy to hear about it...one I did have in mind was the poorboys EX-P but would claying be enough of a paint cleaner before applying a pure sealant like this?

I'm not trying to talk you into any specific LSP, but AIO makes a great base for just about any LSP, including PB's EX or EX-P.

When i got my new Mazda , i wash it, then clay bar it, then use KAIO, and finally seal it, all by hand.

That's what is nice about new cars: no imperfections so this is where the synthetic sealants really perform. No PC correction is necessary and KAIO, Opti-Seal, Zaino etc. provide a shine second to none. In my experience, the synthetics will actually highlight defects on older paint and is the reason I now stick with glazes and carnaubas.

Seven coats seems like a lot. How much time in between coats?

I just put Opti-Seal over 845 last weekend, and was pleasantly surprised. I'm crazy for the way 845 beads water, and can't wait to see what the Opti-Seal did when I wash it next weekend (unless it rains first, fat chance).

I was trying to see how durable it is and now it's been maybe 5 months, i love the product. The shine is still wet and water doesn't stand a chance. When DavidB start's selling the new sample kit of Ultima products i think i'm going to try it this winter. There are so many products i want to try i going to need some detailing jobs for them.
