Alright, I finally got around to emailing myself a couple of the camera phone pics I took of that NSX I was talking about the other day...the one where they guy told me it has light swirls, only to find out he repainted over half the panels himself (used to own a bodyshop) and then proceeded to sand with 600 and then 1000 and then did a 1-step buf with a narly wool pad. Though it's hard to tell from the "before" pictures, I'd never seen such a mess - absolutely no gloss and train-tracks all over the repainted panels. I thing the dullness actually hid the extent of the damage in the pictures. Oh yeah, did I mention that he suggested that he was paying me too much ($300). Lesson - clients that think they know more than you are not good.
