Dallas area meet?

Any suggestions where? Maybe the mid-cities (Arlington, Grand Prarie, Irving, HEB) or maybe in Addison? I am guessing a casual dining place would be best, where entrees are in the $10-15 range...unless y'all really want to pop for something like Ruth's Chris or III Forks. ;)
 
I'm guessing something simple like Cheddar's, Chili's, Bennigan's, or restaurants in that style/range.



As for where, maybe we should get a roll call first to see where the majority of us are located at.
 
Guy's.......I want to come to meet everyone, but I live in San Angelo. Only 295 miles away!! Although, Hooters is well worth the 5 hour drive! (lol)

I drive down to Houston every year for the offtopic.com national meet-but then again, that is a 5 day meet, although I am usually there from Friday to Sunday.
 
Larry said he probably can attend as long as his wife doesn't already have plans. If we can get this going and he can come, anyone who wants Optimum, Clearkote, 303 products or microfiber towels ought to put together a list of what you want.

His 16 x 24 towels seem to be blue versions of the Meguiars Supreme Shine towels. I bought a few today, they are perfect for applying and removing QDs, OCW and Carnauba Jett.

I even polished out my car this past weekend. ;)
 
Gah! All I'll be able to do is a wash and wax, luckily my color hides all the minor cobwebbing from my lax washing and drying. I don't like polishing in 30 degree weather :(

Hooters (also a Chili's, Friday's, Colter's, On The Border, Trail Dust, Saltgrass Steakhouse, etc nearby) on north Collins (right off 30) or Buck 'n Loons off Cooper about a mile north of 20 are pretty good places to meet up in Arlington.



Larry Klein, the Optimum rep won't be able to make it, can't get out of taking his wife out for their anniversary. Can you believe that? :lol
 
What ever is decided on location all I ask is that a street address for the resturant be mentioned so I can get Yahoo to get me directions.



It is only two and a half hours to Dallas so it is not a problem for me. I hope that we do this. My wife needs a nite out. We can combine this with an over nite so my wife can do the shopping thing for two days on the trip. Heck, in Alaska I have traveled 500 miles in a boat to shoot a moose. This trip will be easy
 
scottwax, i will talk to rick (rlspringer) and see if he wants to attend i know he is busy with his daughters on the weekend and he hasnt mentioned it, but i might attend,

as far as a spring meet my driveway is always available, i live in hurst close to the middle of the metroplex almsot centrally located
 
Luckily for us the weather starts heading up from here on out, supposedly highs in the upper 50s on Saturday. Around the 30s during the night, shouldn't be too bad.
