Coolest Civic Ever

Hey Bill why do I get the feeling this thread would be closed/deleted by now if you were still a mod? (would be if I was a mod too...)

Maybe I have poor vision or something, but no matter how hard I look at the interior pics, it all looks more like hand-drawn animation to me than actual photographs.

The car looks like melted crayon. Several of you are right. The car draws attention. Kind of like a car accident. Unfortunately, it has drawn our attention for at least 30 posts!!! :argue

A B18C is already $3k so you can stop right there. What kind of turbo? What kind of intercooler? What kind of blow off valve? What kind of engine management? What kind of injectors? What kind of fuel pump? What kind of suspension? etc etc etc.

I'm sorry, I'm not a mechanic so I can't answer most of your questions. My friend, however, is a mechanic, and he owns his own performance shop, so he #1 got everything he needed very cheap including the engine, and #2 didn't pay for labor.

So maybe before you post rude comments to people assuming that everyone pays someone to work on their car, think before you type...:nono

Not trying to be rude, but this image just came across the Gallery preview.

How fitting.....

I see this is going nowhere so this is my last comment about the "Coolest Civic Ever".

Actually, with minimal money, you can turn a 4 cylinder civic into a V8 killer

Show me where I assumed someone else did the work.

There isn't one V8 that can even keep up with him, nor any 6 cylinders like supras in my area that can do it either. Plus it's more reliable than most american cars are stock lol.

Im sorry for the comment regarding this post but I find little truth to that statement.

Uhh, first you said "with minimal money, you can turn a 4 cylinder civic into a V8 killer with even a small turbo, or a simple bolt on supercharger"...but that your friend buys parts at cost and pays no labor. All the while you even admit you have no idea what it takes to get that kind of power. Building any 4 cylinder engine to 500+ HP definitely costs a LOT of money...and seeing as it's a honda engine not made for boost, it seems even less likely, since it would take a lot of boost (that a "small turbo" couldn't provide to begin with) that the aluminum block can't handle. If it was that easy and cheap Honda wouldn't be making mass market econobox grocery getters.

Well you weren't clear on why you called me a liar, but this isn't so if you own your own shop and can either get a high milage B18c motor and rebuild it or buy it cheaply because you can get a special price for being a whoelsaler . We'll pick this up another time in a post about 500HP+ Civics;)
