Awesome work and great Christmas gift. :)

Glad my Dad just asks for some of my stuff so he can take care of his own cars. ;)

I'm glad you can take a joke, JOSH. My Explorer is a mess right now, snow, ice, salt.........but it cleans up very well and is massively protected!!!!

I always get people thinking my cars should always be perfect, I don't get paid to keep my cars perfect, in addition isn't it always the plumbers homes with all the leaks, the roofers with all the leaks, the carpenters always under partial construction, and the detailers always in need of a wash or being used a labratory for various lsp, polishes and cleaners.....on the verge of clear coat faliure from massive polshing experiments.

Cheers,

GREG

Exactly, I struggle to clean mine and my wifes cars as it is....:dig

Ramtough, thanks, tailgates always seems to reflect the best on a freshly polished truck.

P1ET Thanks

David703 Thanks, red vehicles do look great when polished out.

Fishboze Thanks

Thanks, usually he doesn't ask for anything and we end up getting him a callender or a model train to build (he's into trains) but I wanted to go the extra mile this year and get him something he's never had before.:waxing:

awesome job. Do you have any pics of how those deep scratches on the bumper turned out after

No, sorry I actually forgot to take pics of the front of the bumper where I sanded and polished it. They turned out very nicely, but still need to be touch up painted to fill in the huge gouges where he was hit.

I didn't realize till after I was downloading and looking at all the before and after pics that I forgot to take after pics of the front bumper.:doh

I have to say i really like to start off with ZAIO it gives the paint incredible depth and a nice thick gloss.

That is very impressive defect removal and the zaio just tops it off beautifully.

Hey Josh,

For your Dad's Christmas gift next year, I suggest that you get him a bed liner for his truck. I think that he would really like that. :)

I have been really impressed with the ZAIO, most AIO's just don't give you the protection to justify using them, but ZAIO just lasts sooo long, I've been very impressed with it. It's not very abrasive, but just enough to clean off the surface, no real defect removal with ZAIO, but perfect for cleansing and protecting in one shot. :woot2:

Exactly.......

While I was taking pics, I tried my best to just take them low enough so that the nasty, scratched up bed didn't show.... It really detears from the new glow the paint has. (no offense Dad if you're ready this):dig

Thanks, the truck is night and day different now. I'm very happy with the results, the scratches actually came out much better then I expected.:woot2:
