Hey folks, I was thinking of buying some sort of rolling cart that could follow me around a car. As you could imagine, searches didn't help much because for one, "cart" results are mostly about online shopping carts it appeared to me. For shelves in the garage, I go the affordable route, and so affordable was my first inclination; something like this for $33, the Whitmor:
Amazon.com: Whitmor 6056-344-N Supreme Cart, Chrome: Home & Garden
Then after browsing some more, I thought a handle would be great, because I could throw a towel over it, so to speak. Like this $60 unit (yep, price has now doubled):
Amazon.com: Seville Classics SHE18304 18-Inch by 34-Inch by 33-1/2-Inch Industrial All-Purpose Utility Cart, Chrome: Home & Garden
Then I started thinking about how nice a "solid" shelf would be (at least one, though all would be better), because I know with my garage shelf that is "chrome wire" or whatever, bottles can easily tip over if not placed just right in regards to the "wires". Oops, add another $25 (and no handle):
Amazon.com: Seville Classics SHE18321 Stainless Steel Kitchen Workstation: Home & Garden
I can see myself placing my DA's on the bottom shelf, between sessions, or during breaks, so that the DA could never roll over and have the pad hit the ground. I might have come across one with both a handle and solid shelf, but I can't find it if I did. What do you guys all think? Not worth it? Gets in the way, and gets tangled with power cords? Runs away on you on a garage floor?
On a different product topic altogether, and if I remember correctly from reading an older thread, a seated creeper is generally considered to possibly be harmful to our health? (Sometimes I think it could be a relief to have, but I honestly don't know.) Just get on a knee, keep the back straight, and if very low, perhaps just sit on the ground?
I appreciate the thoughts, per usual.
