What's the best way to clean your sheepskin wash mitts after a washing job?![]()
I rinse them in clear water to remove soap and place them on top of a broom handle to air dry. when they get grease stains or tar I usually demote them to wheel, lower pannels and wells.
Well..
I've been washing them in the washing machine on the gentle cycle in cold water.
Then in the dryer for only a minute or two on a very low setting to fluff the wool then let sit on an air only glove dryer.
I have had good success this way.
For when the mitts get black or grease stains on them, I use 'Shout' spot remover let it soak, then wash as above.
The mitts come out as new as ever.
I just wondered if there was another way.
Honestly, I use it till it falls apart, if it is shotty looking and not working like it use to. I never wash and reuse my sheepskin wash mitts or microfiber towels. I always use new ones. It is costly, but I am too picky.:wall lolHow many washes do you guys get out of your mitt before it needs to be replaced?![]()
Any tips on where to buy, what brands are better? I think the last time I bought one was a Wal-Mart.
