As I wait for my order to arrive, I have a few questions that I thought I would ask the group. My current plan is to wash the car, clay the car, wash again and then begin my process of UPC and UPP.
During that first wash, I was planning to use the Spray and Rinse wheel cleaner first and then hose the wheels off. That would be followed by the traditional suds wash. Then the claying and another wash.
Is that when I would apply the Bnb and wheel sealant? The sealant is a little more self-explanatory as I want to seal them after they are clean. But the BnB is a cleaner as well, so I wasn't sure if I should do that at the end as well or somewhere earlier in the process.
I am trying to track down Eagle One Tire Swipes as well, I am hoping they have them at the local auto stores. I was thinking of using that to apply the BnB after the wash/clay/wash process and then make sure the wheels are still clean before applying the sealant.
Also, how many coats of sealant to most people apply? Is one coat sufficient? And is it applied after every wash or will it maintain for awhile and only need to be applied again when the wheels are a little more difficult to clean? Likewise, is the Spray & Rinse only for when they are dir-tay or is that a regular application. My initial assumption was only on an as-needed basis when the wheels are not as easy to clean.
Also, would questions like this be better in the Tire&Wheel forum or here? Sorry for all of the questions... :newbie
Thanks,
Derek
