I was talking with a buddy at work today about water spots and how to get them off. This guy walking by, who obviously didn't know that he wasn't invited to the conversation, felt the need to put in his $.02. He said that wheel cleaner was the most effective way to remove waterspots and it was 100% safe for your car. He said that he ran a detailing business for years and years and never had any problems with that method.
Is there any truth to that? I've never tried it myself. I've never tried using engine degreaser as a window cleaner either. I don't know that I would trust wheel cleaner on my car. Is that guy for real? Anyone ever heard of that? It seemed odd to me.
