Blackfire Wet Diamond Review (with Pics No 56k)

ZoomZoom,

As I said in my review, I really don't have a dog in the "wax war" fights but LOVE when a product meets or beats expectations.

Frankly, I think I'm probably not smart enough to even understand the whole clone thing, but I am smart enough to know a great product when I see one. The guys at CMA have a winner on their hands. If that threatens some, so be it.

As I said... it'll be a permanent part of my arsenal. In fact, I can foresee a bit of fire and ice in my future!!! LOL

Be careful, UN. Before long you'll be buying all sorts of boutique waxes, and you will lose your proletarian status. ;)

I would like to think that you only lose your proletarian status if you're crazy enough to spend over $100 for a tub of wax. I personally wouldn't go over $50. Luckily for me, Midnight Sun went on sale and I jumped at it!

It wasn't to you User Name, It's for someone else out there who think they know everything under the sun. I really like your review, it was great.

That's what you are saying now! Last year you wouldn't have spent more than $25 for a wax. Now you are up to $50. Heaven knows what you'll be willing to spend a year from now.

Actually, that's been my ceiling since I starting getting into detailing 6 years ago. The most expensive waxes I own right now are Fuzion, Midnight Sun and Souveran. I recently bought Fuzion BOGO at $100 and I purchased Souveran BOGO at $69.99 about 5 years ago. :cornut:

Zoomzoom,

I know you weren't directing it at me and I know you know (better than most) the virtues of BF Wet Diamond, I guess I just don't understand hating on a easy to use, high quality product.

Sometimes people are just ingrained to believe things have to be difficult to be good.

It took me a little while, but I found out who said that and I posted on his forum what I thought.

I think we all know who we are all talking about. If you read the entire thread, you'll notice that the individual has made his opinion of CMA branded products quite clear. Unfortunately, since he also happens to work for the competition, his credibility on the subject is questionable at best.
In the end, all we can do is try the products out ourselves and make up our own minds. Opinions will only take you so far.
Remember what Dirty Harry said to his boss in "The Dead Pool": "Opinions are like %$$holes. Everybody's got one."

OK, my favorite line - and it ain't "make my day" it came from the end of Magnum Force (I think) when the crooked Capt impales himself - Clint says, " a man's got to know his limitations"

About the clone thing - it's just too stupid, and outs that guy for the AG shill he is.

The crooked captain was Hal Holbrook and Dirty Harry said the line after the car the captain was in exploded.
This isn't going to get moved to Water Cooler, is it?:D

That's a funny statement......Aren't we all shill'n for something? :D:D:D I did read the post at the "other" site. Really? I don't know all the details, but that comment screams ignorance and doesn't give the folks at CMA their due credit for product development-for the current line and I'm guessing a few at AG (that's right, I'll say it). Oh, good times!!!

Guys, let's try to keep this thread on topic, that is about Blackfire or User Name's experience with it. There are plenty of other forums out there where product, person, or company bashing is completely okay, and some times encouraged. People have attacked our products, our personal, or our company in the past, and they will continue to do so in the future. We understand this is going to happen, and while I appreciate Angelo and other's frustration, this really isn't the place for it.

The proverbial line is getting close to being trampled over, so let's stay on topic and make 'Truth in Detailing' a save haven from bashing, drama, and mis truths!

Thanks for you helping making this a great forum.

Todd
