Black WOW! Awesome stuff

Does this stuff appear clear out of the bottle?

Black Again works the same way, I'd imagine.

That's what I've been using the last couple of years and it's wonderful.

It's not clear. It's a dark, translucent orange, but it of course does not make your trim or outside plastic/rubber look orange. It brings out the color and gives black trim a deep, rich, wet black look. I'm going to clean and apply more soon, then let it get dirty and wash it and see how it holds up.

I'm not a chemist or polymer scientist, but I like to put a coat of these types of protectants on, let them sit for a while, then wipe or buff them off. If you only wipe the excess (and don't buff it) the Black WOW may grab a little more dirt, but I've found it's

1) not much more than what normally accumulates through standard use, and

2) the dirt doesn't show up as well, maybe due to the wet look that the Black WOW gives.

I'll post my continuing experiences and reviews of this product.

I was detailing a black truck with a moderate amount of plastic on it and got sealant on the black plastic on purpose bc it said it wouldnt turn it white but instead help deepen and protect it. Needless to say its a few days later and the truck's plastic turned white. I was going to order some Black Wow for this... will this eliminate the white wax staining or just put a protectant over top of it? I dont want to spend 25 bucks plus shipping if its not what im looking for. Also, if I need to get the white off the plastic before I apply this how do you recommend doing so? I was going to try megs APC first next time i see the truck, but any tricks would be helpful

Just so I'm clear, what is the sealant that you got on the plastic that now turned white?

From my experience, Black WOW won't take off the sealant, it will put a coating over it. You'll need something else to clean the white wax first. In the past I've been able to use detailing brushes and it comes off pretty well. I would try that. Even a hair brush with bristles works. Then treat the plastic with Black WOW or another trim protectant.

Hope that helps. Let us know! :up

I tried BW on my truck a few months ago when the stuff was in preproduction run (half price !). Half the body is plastic cladding so I thought it would be great for this.

Unfortunately, for such a large panel it's very hard to get a uniform appearance from BW. Plus some of that stuff came off during a wash and ruined a wash mitt.

I still use it, but for small trim pieces.
