She'll Buff Out
This is a perfect example of what i was talking about in my last post of dealerships having a bad detail rep.
A guy bought this car last week but it hadnt been
detailed yet. So he said he'll wait until its done to come pick it up. One of the others did it (it was my day off). So he came and picked it up friday night after he got off work. He was there this morning bright and early (service is closed on the weekends) saying how horrible the car looked and he didnt want it anymore (you have 48 hours to change your mind on a sale).
So he went and talked to the salesman who sold it to him, who i used to work with at the cadillac dealership also. The salesman told him to hold on one sec. I get a phone call at 7 this morning (my day off) asking if i can come in and look at a car. So i go down there and look at it. Told the salesman give me 4 hours. They guy agreed to it and left.
After it was so called "detailed" the first time.
So i went through the whole car again and here are the results. I went through the interior again to but i didnt take pics.
So the ending of the story. I finished the car and then went straight home to enjoy the rest of my day off. 30 mins later i get another phone call asking to come back down to work. I was thinking o great he doesnt like it. So i get there, go into the showroom and go to the salesman desk were him and the customer are waiting. I walk up and he goes well heres the kid who did your car. The guy just starts to rave about how impressed he was and how much he loved the car. He couldnt believe the turnaround. So we talk and all. Now im going to his house next week to do all his cars and keep them up. So we shook hands i felt him put something into my palm. I didnt want to be rude and look so i waited for him to leave. I about crapped myself when i saw what he handed me lol.
Even tho the car wasnt that hard to bring back, its always nice to know when your work is noticed and appreciated.
