BFWD All Finish Paint Protection - Thumb's Up!

I have a BIN full of LSPs right now and everytime I do a detail I always seem to reach for Wet Diamond. Ease of use takes the day everytime and since I don't have any of the newer super easy to use products, like Powerlock, I go to BFWD.

In my current arsenal:

BFWD
Midnight Sun
Souveran
Fuzion
NXT 2.0
P21's
Z2Pro
Z5Pro
M21
Meg's Cleaner Wax
FMJ
Probably a few more.

Other than experimenting with Midnight Sun, Souveran & Fuzion last summer, I'd say the only products getting regular use are BFWD and Z2Pro (my winter wax).

User Name....what do you think of Fuzion?

I just got some Auto Glym HD that I want to try in the near future.

Hey David!!! How are you bud?

I was VERY underwhelmed by Fuzion. It did nothing that I thought was great. It's not terrible to put on, but BFWD is easier. It's not hard to take off, but BFWD is easier. It doesn't stain, which is great and I never really test for durability because I re-wax so often.

As for looks, I can't really say. I have a pearl white car and a silver car. Neither are great for differentiating between products and in that regard, I can't say it looks better (or worse) for that matter than anything else. Add to that the price tag and I have to give it a big thumbs down.

What actually surprised me is Z2Pro. I really HATE using it, but I do think it is the only product that gives me a bit more shine. It is the only thing I *think* looks better than anything else.

Oh and about Fuzion... I'm not being a TID homer. I do love BFWD but I am NOT a fan of Midnight Sun. In fact, I NEVER use the fire over ice combo because to me, Midnight Sun takes away the slickness which I love so much!

+1 on this, while we love the slickness of BFWD, Midnight sun is a party pooper, always feel regret after using MS as a topper.... the look is amazing though...

While product evolves i kinda feel now that BFWD and newer entrants in the market: Menz power Lock along with Wolfgang DGPS are somehow similiar in slickness, look and durability... so maybe it's time for Blackfire to reinvent their BFWD?......

I haven't used Powerlock, so I cannot comment, although I've read really good things about it.

As for Wolfgang DGPS... I tried it before I tried BFWD. I thought it was the BEST product I EVER used in my life. I absolutely LOVED it!!!

But then I tried BFWD and it was over for Wolfgang DGPS. Why? BFWD is easier on and off, slightly slicker and $10 cheaper (last time I checked - haven't bought either in at least 18 months). They are very similar but BFWD beats Wolfgang by a small margin in every category important to me. I don't think they need to reinvent BFWD at all. They might want to come up with a WOWA product that is entirely different though.
